Analysis of CMOS inhibitory synapse with varying neurotransmitter concentration, reuptake time and spread delay Biologically-realistic synapses serve the role of computation, modification and communication, which makes it an important pillar of spike-based neuron model. Various circuit implementations of different types of synapse exist depending on different functions and applications. This paper simulates Biomimetic Real-Time Cortex Project design of synapse using SPICE code showing theoretical analysis using commercially available nano length CMOS technology using SPICE circuit simulator. This circuit is implemented by modeling different mechanism of a neuron which includes that of neurotransmitter release, reuptake mechanism and spread delay which tracks the behavior of cortical neuron using electronic control signals.
